Job objective
The Microsoft Cloud Engineer within the Digital Innovation and Applications Practice is responsible for the design, implementation and management of innovative application solutions in a Microsoft Azure environment. The role involves the complete management of the project lifecycle, from the development phase through to operation, deployment and maintenance of applications.
Main responsibilities
- BUILD: Design, configure and deploy innovative solutions on Azure following best practices.
- RUN: Manage cloud application environments in production and ensure their optimization.
- MCO (Maintien en Condition Opérationnelle): Guarantee the stability, performance and availability of cloud solutions for applications.
- CI/CD & IaC (Infrastructure as Code): implement continuous deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code (Powershell, Azure CLI, Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
Environments and technologies
- Application Services: Azure Functions, Azure Spring Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Red Hat OpenShift, Azure VMware Solution.
- Infrastructure technologies: Oracle Real Application Clusters, Nutanix Clusters on Azure, SAP on Azure, AIX on Azure.
- DevOps tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps.
- Low-Code/No-Code: Power Apps.
Skills required
- Technical:
- Expertise in application environments on Azure, including PaaS solutions such as Azure Functions, Azure Spring Apps and Azure Kubernetes Services.
- Expertise in automation and deployment with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Codesolutions (Powershell, Azure CLI, Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Skills in managing and administering application environments via SysOps.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps) and low-code platforms such as Power Apps.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications required (e.g. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Developer Associate, or equivalent).
- Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Education: BAC+5 degree, Engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in designing and managing applications on cloud environments, preferably on Azure.
