Job objective

The Microsoft Cloud Architect within the Azure Data & AI Practice is responsible for the design and supervision of data architectures in cloud environments. This position encompasses the full lifecycle management of Data & AIprojects , from technical design to implementation and operation, with a focus on DataOps, Big Data, and AI technologies .

Main responsibilities

• Architecture Design: develop data architectures on Microsoft Azure, while taking into account technical, security, and budgetary constraints. Use the CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAP (Well Architect Framework) frameworks to ensure robust solutions.
• Assessment and Strategic Consulting: help customers define their Data & AI roadmap , ensuring that the proposed solutions align with their business objectives. Use tools like MAP (Microsoft Assessment and Planning) to plan migrations.
• Implementation Supervision: oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring scalability, security and performance. Manage the automation of ETL/LET and DataOps processes .

Environments and technologies

• Databases and Big Data: Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Microsoft Fabric
• Analysis and Visualization: Power BI.
• Data Governance and AI: Microsoft Purview, Microsoft AI, Azure AI.
• Languages and tools: Scala, Python, SQL/NoSQL.

Skills required

• Technical:
  • Expertise in data architecture design, including DataOps, ETL/LET, and data pipeline automation.
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Big Dataskills with Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
  • Good command of Scala and Pythonprogramming languages , as well as SQL/NoSQL databases .
  • Experience in implementing artificial intelligence solutions with Azure AI and Microsoft AI.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications specialized in data and artificial intelligence (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate) are highly recommended.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Education: BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in designing and implementing data and artificial intelligence solutions on Microsoft Azure.
