Job objective

The Microsoft Cloud Architect within the Digital Innovation and Applications Practice is responsible for designing, implementing and supervising innovative cloud solutions. Taking into account technical, budgetary and security constraints, he/she proposes architectures adapted to customers' needs, while ensuring that technologies are properly integrated into their existing environments.

Main responsibilities

• Architecture design: develop cloud architectures based on the CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAP (Well Architect Framework) frameworks , while guaranteeing the security, scalability and compliance of the proposed solutions.
• Assessment and Strategic Consulting: advising customers in defining their cloud roadmap and ensuring alignment with their business objectives, using MAP (Microsoft Assessment and Planning) to diagnose current environments and plan migrations.
• Implementation Supervision: oversee the deployment of solutions and ensure that performance, security and operational efficiency are maintained. Use CI/CD & IaC (Infrastructure as Code) approaches to automate and optimize application deployment.

Environments and technologies

• Application Services: Azure Functions, Azure Spring Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
• Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructures: Azure VMware Solution, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Nutanix Clusters on Azure, SAP on Azure, AIX on Azure.
• Management and DevOps tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Azure CLI.

Skills required

• Technical:
  • Mastery of CAF, WAP and MAPconcepts for cloud architecture design.
  • Expertise in Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Service, and Azure Red Hat OpenShiftenvironments .
  • Infrastructure automation skills with Terraform, ARM, Bicep and scripting via Powershell and Azure CLI.
  • Experience in integrating complex infrastructures with technologies such as Azure VMware Solution, Nutanix Clusters on Azure, SAP on Azure, and AIX on Azure.
• Certifications: Advanced Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions) are required.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Education: BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azuretechnologies .
