Job objective
The Microsoft Cloud Engineer in the Azure Data & AI Practice is responsible for the design, implementation and management of data infrastructures and artificial intelligence solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This position covers the entire lifecycle of Data projects, from the development of data pipelines to the integration of artificial intelligence solutions, including the operation and maintenance of DataOps environments.
Main responsibilities
- BUILD: Design and deploy robust and scalable data architectures on Azure, including data management, analytics and AI solutions.
- RUN: Ensure the day-to-day operation of data environments, including monitoring, maintenance and performance optimization.
- DataOps: Implement and optimize data pipelines for integration, transformation and real-time delivery.
- ETL/LET: Master data extraction, transformation and loading processes to ensure data quality and integrity in target systems.
- Programming: Use languages such as Scala, Python, SQL/NoSQL to develop and optimize complex data flows.
Environments and technologies
- Databases and Analytics: Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Reporting tools: Power BI.
- Data Governance: Microsoft Purview.
- Artificial Intelligence: Microsoft AI, Azure AI.
- Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, Spark.
Skills required
- Technical:
- Mastery of Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Synapse Analyticsplatforms .
- Expertise in DataOps and automation of complex data flows.
- ETL/LET and data transformation skills , with good knowledge of Scala, Python, SQL/NoSQL programming languages .
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence solutions on Azure AI and Microsoft AI.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications in data or artificial intelligence required (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or equivalent).
- Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Education: BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in data management and implementation of AI solutions on cloud environments, preferably on Azure.
